RIVERSIDE ANNOUNCE FULL LINEUP

In Association With Riverside Festival

Riverside Festival is making up for lost time by adding an extra day and turning the event into a 3-day weekender.

Returning to Glasgow’s iconic Riverside Museum on the River Clyde, the full line-up is now confirmed for the 2021 event taking place from 3-5th September with the gates opening at 2pm each day.

After having to reschedule the 2020 event, the organisers are delighted to finally share the news that previously announced headline acts Jamie xx, Disclosure, Amelie Lens and Skream will be joined by an eclectic array of the world’s most cutting-edge DJs.

Ben UFO, Hunee, Call Super, Jayda G, Paula Temple, Ellen Allien, Palms Trax, Leon Vynehall, Éclair FiFi, AFRODEUTSCHE, and Anz will all feature while co-curators of the event, Slam, will debut with their brand new Hybrid Live concept.

As with all Riverside Festival events, the team behind it have worked hard to put together a unique programme of artists. Floating Points will play live in Scotland for the first time, Maya Jane Coles goes b2b with Mella Dee, while Dax J and Kobosil will perform together. Jay Celino also will be performing at the 8th edition of the festival.

A new addition to this year’s event is the Satellite Stage, which will be showcasing some of the finest up and coming talent from the electronic music scene in the city.

On the newly added Friday, popular Glasgow-based community radio station Clyde Built Radio will take over the Satellite stage, and one of Glasgow’s best loved clubs La Cheetah will host the Waterfront stage on Saturday and Sunday.

Festival Co-Director, Dave Clarke, said: “It feels like a long time in the making with the stop, start nature of operating in such an uncertain environment this last 12 months, so we are absolutely delighted to finally be closer  to our creation of a massive open air dance floor in the city where everyone can celebrate being back together again. We are thrilled with the line-up and can’t wait to open the gates on Friday 3rd September.”
